MITHILA INSTITUTE OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY is run and managed by Mithila Education and Welfare Society, Haripur, Darbhanga (Bihar). The main objective of the organisation is to provide quality and affordable education in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology most conductive to the Indian context. The organisation is currently running Kushal Yuva Program of Bihar Skill Development Mission, Govt. of Bihar.
The Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) has launched a unique skill training programme by the name of "Kushal Yuva Program" which would enhance the Soft Skills of youth of 15-25 age group who have passed class 10th. Soft Skills training would comprise of Life skills, Communications Skills (English & Hindi) and Basic computer literacy which in turn would enhance their employability and act as a value add to the various domain specific training endeavours currently being implemented in Bihar.
“MITHILA EDUCATION AND WELFARE SOCIETY “ is a non –political, non-commual and non –profitable making voluantary organization. It was legally registered under Societies Registration Act (XXI) of 1860. It works for socio-economic, education and cultural decelopment of the most-neglected, oppressed, downtrodden and disadvantaged sections of the society.
This organization was formed with the main objects to oraganize develop capabilities and train rural people and community to improve their position in Trust through socio-economic activities. The main aim of the organization is to empower women through income generating programs, so that they can earn their daily bread. It supports downtrodden sections of the Trust especially women and children with proper protection, education and training, so that their dignity may be mauled. It stresses on mobilization of public opinion against social evils,check the atrocities on women and exploitation of rural laborers. Further, the organization is taking steps to utilize existing resource for improving of the health condition of mother & children in rural area and adoption of small morms as well as generate public opinion in favour of family planning.
Our organization "Mithila Education and Welfare Society" is a tegistered grass root Level NGO working in Darbhanga, with the aim of overall development of society.The main trust areas are literacy Agriculture, removing child labor, Sanitation, educational development health, Livelihood and also protection of envirorment etc.
After the Industrial Revolution modern mankind has entered into the era of Information Revolution. Information Revolution has affected every aspect of human life. Day-to-day innovations and developments in Computer have made Information and Communication Technology far more effective and have provide a diversified aspect. This Information Revolution has created many challanges, opportunities and competitions in human life with which for making a balance, it has become indespensible to study Information and Communication Technology.
To fulfill the above needs of the modern society MITHILA INSTITUTE OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY has been established. For skill development in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology, currently Kushal Yuva Program is being run by the institution.
